Had a great night at Pitch on Tuesday at a closed event with ladies golf clubs. The staff served us food (chicken tenders, pizzas, chips etc) and were attentive. It’s a great venue with a number of bays with Trackman monitors. I’ll be back!

Fantastic experience at Pitch Yesterday! Great service from the staff always being attentive and letting us know how long we have with our booking. Super modern indoor golf simulator with an incredible array of games, would definitely recommend!

I can only review the golf simulator, found it pretty poor. Lighting creates very distracting shadows with the bays being quite dark generally. Other places I’ve visited the shadow is behind you. It was very hot in the bay compared to the rest of the floor, so much so we had to open the door on the sim computer as it started to overheat and crashing. Also you have to use castle tees and they kept falling over and highest tee is pink castle which are far too low for my preference.

We visited here for my birthday. It's brand new and feels more like a high-end bar than a golf venue, seriously impressive. The service was excellent too and they took time to show us how to simulator worked in a lot of detail. They also had mens and womens clubs available, or you can bring your own. I'd highly recommend it for groups, or for a date night. You can order drinks and food (we only had drinks but they were great and service was fast). Only very tiny criticism is it got really warm due to the computer cupboard that runs the software blowing warm air right into the swinging area - so if you're coming here definitely don't wrap up!

An interesting alternative to indoor sports themed bars that also appeals to non golf players. First came Flight club with a new spin on darts, then there was indoor cricket and now we have indoor golf that isn’t miniature. Let’s start with location. Just off Spinningfields this is as clean cut, upmarket, modern and as far removed from the alternative hipster vibe that characterises the Northern Quarter. I can easily picture a few KCs from the chambers across the road traipsing over before or after dinner in Spinningfield after a long day spent poring over briefs. But this not Pomeroy's, not by a long shot. Drinks of various descriptions abound. Mixologists will aim to please and I’ve stopped ordering from the menu and leave it up to them to surprise me. The results of this method have never failed to please and amaze me in equal measure. Amusement wise you have a choice of fancy video golf that makes you realise why the Wii was such a hit. There’s also shuffleboard, which will enthuse Manchester’s fairer sex. Their hemlines and stilletos will be more compatible with this than in trying to keep an open club face.
